Nanindigan ang Department of Justice na si Senador Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa ay itinuturing na ngayong “fugitive from justice” matapos lumabas ang arrest warrant mula sa International Criminal Court kaugnay ng kasong crimes against humanity na iniuugnay sa drug war noong administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Ayon kay Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida, may umiiral na valid arrest warrant mula sa ICC at inatasan na ang mga law enforcement agencies, kabilang ang PNP at NBI, na ipatupad ang pag-aresto kay Dela Rosa.
“Senator is a fugitive from justice and he should be brought to the ICC to face the charges before him.”
