Naglabas ng pahayag ang MTRCB kaugnay sa No Work, No Pay na mangyayari kapag sinuspinde nila ang It's Showtime.

Naglabas ng press statement ang MTRCB nitong linggo tungkol sa isyu ng No Work, No Pay sa mga empleyado ng It's Showtime na maaapektuhan kung magpapatuloy ang 12 araw na suspensiyon nito.

Sa isang pahayag, iginiit ng MTRCB na magkahiwalay na usapin ang desisyon nitong suspindihin ang It's Showtime at ang isyu ng No Work, No Pay.

Ayon ng statement ng MTRCB, "The suspension in fact, underscores the broader and more pressing matter of the contractualization within the entertainment industry. The issue deserves sincere attention from the producer."

Dagdag pa ng MTRCB, "The practice by the Producer or the management to not regularize their employees, even when a show has been airing live for six days a week, for over a decade highlights a much bigger problem than the show's 12-airing days suspension."

Samantala, nagpahayag din ng pakikiramay ang MTRCB sa lahat ng maaapektuhan kapag naging epektibo ang suspension ng noontime show.

Paliwanag pa ng MTRCB "We sincerely empathize with the hardworking individuals who will be affected once the suspension takes effect."

"However, we believe that the inability of the management to provide regular employment should not impinge on the duty of the MTRCB to uphold its mandate in ensuring the ethical compliance of broadcasting content."
